Matty's Girlfriend Turns 2

Oh yes, that's right. In case you didn't know, a 2-year old Casanova lives in our house. At one time there was a veritable love triangle going on in the Toddler classroom at DCA. But through patience, perseverance and of course, true love, our Matty has won the heart of the class queen - Ella Sandrock! These two are way too cute together, I have watched them follow and chase each other on many an occasion! Well, it was her birthday last weekend and as her mother put it, she had to have her boyfriend there! We even met the future in laws, and even Ella's grandmother is certain they'll marry!

Ella's party was at Gymboree last weekend and it was just her classmates and their parents and what a time they all had! Ella, always the sweet entertainer, was on the shy side at her party (a woman's prerogative, people!) and was not so much in the mood to do all the activities first, as is the Gymboree tradition. But when her Mom would say, "Ella, what if Matchew went first?" She always agreed. That was sweet, but probably a mistake as for the rest of the party, Matty thought it was a given he had carte blanche over each activity! Oh my, he showed no fear at any point: the higher, the faster, the better! What a mess! The kids all had a great time, and I got some cute pics of the happy couple, too.
