Last week, the largest city in the south which we call home became a national laughing stock. We were lucky. We were not trapped in our cars for 12 hours straight, starving, losing our minds and peeing in whatever coffee cup happened to have been left in the console. We didn't lose power, and our kids did not have to call school their home for the night. The 5-mile drive from Walker to home took Ben and Matty 3 hours and claimed Ben's left side-view mirror. But who would have thought that would be nothing compared to the stories that came out of our city those 2 days.
Once the elder Browning men made their way home the snow was coming down hard and soon snow angels abounded in our yard.
Sometimes you gotta just curl up in front of the fire with your Daddy to stay warm.
Sometimes they make you curl up with your brother for a photo op.
Our winter wonderland.
They're at it again...
Henry's first snow. This is what it looks like when Momma is both holding the baby and snapping the picture at random. You get the gist.
Pinterest comes in handy when your skin is too thin for much more snow and you're runnning out of things to do inside. If I do say so myself, Ben's sock never looked so cute.
