It's only 2PM and already today has been a whirlwind! In the car on the way to school I notice my cell phone is running low on juice so I go to plug it in. Oh dear, my charger was dead. Not good. Then moments later my cell phone dies too. Not good. After braving the icy roads and idiots who can't drive 285 on a good day, let alone an icy one, Matty and I arrive at DCA to find it...closed. Even though I must add here they were not on the school closings list I checked before we left home. So there I was: icy, abandoned parking lot, no cell phone and Matty.
After turning my cubicle into a makeshift playroom with the few toys we had on hand, paperclip box, tissues and random toys from neighbors' cubes, Caroline and Jake came to the rescue!! Matty and Jake are having an awesome playdate at their house today. I'm getting updates from Caroline and it sounds as though the boys are having lots of fun! She just emailed me the cutest pictures, I had to share them :)
